Al Maqsura focuses on restoration and adaptive reuse and master planning of Historical districts and buildings and specializes mainly in provision of professional consultancy for private and government clients in Saudi Arabia in urban and architectural heritage projects.

Al Maqsura engages heritage sites and buildings, its conservation, restoration, and development through master planning and design while giving a particular attention to the integration and revitalization of historical fabrics and restoration of heritage buildings and preparing revitalization plans and techniques, and providing technical expertise needed throughout the revitalization and restoration process ranging from surveying, documentation and diagnosis to preparations of restoration plans, design, site supervision and assessment.
