Mohammed Batterjee’s Heritage Building Restoration, Conservation and Development Project

This report is providing a diagnosis in view of a global architectural and restoration project, for the rehabilitation of the “Ashgar” Heritage Building, owned by Mr Mohammed Batterjee and located in the heart of Old Jeddah, in very emblematic location, nearby associated square. This mission and associated visits of the building were meant to recognize and evaluate the current state of the house and potential issues, identify potential solutions and organise the future restoration work.
